Why Listen To Me?
Over the last 20 years I’ve seen building jobs go well and I’ve seen them go badly.
My career began on the tools on a variety of projects and since then I've seen the building industry from a range of perspectives - as a main contractor, a project manager and property developer.
I have found every home improvement project without planning, management and clear communication has the potential to be a nightmare, which is why I devised a Roadmap with a clear 7 steps for Refurb success. My system works with any Home Improvement, Refurbishment or Extension and is clear and easy to follow.
My goal is to bring a positive change to the UK domestic Building industry by having a better culture, clearer communication and improved credibility.

Hulfurb is the result of Dan Hulbert's experience over the last 20 years although only establish in 2024 his experience and knowledge filter through every part of the business learning from both his failures and successes and why the companies moto is " Strive for progression".
Our mission is simple but powerful and that is to bring a positive change to the Uk domestic building industry through Refurbishing, Improving and Extending Homes pairing those with education, leadership and a coaching culture helping people grow, develop and learn at all levels.
Our vision is to create courageous leaders in the industry, educate those undertaking a project with the right processes and communicating this Nationwide to bring the standards and credibility up which will entice the younger generation to follow construction as a profession.

This industry has a deep-rooted culture and approach, it could be so much more with the right philosophy, processes and people.
Personal:
Our approach when involved in a project is to be build rapport at all levels from client to contractors creating strong relationships through communication and service. A Home Improvement at any level is a big undertaking and something that most Homeowners are not use to. There is no such thing as a silly question in our eyes. Ask away.
Practical:
When you are venturing into something new with a knowledge gap, having support, advice and guidance in real time is important. This is where our practical approach is the difference between getting a problem solved or a problem turning into a disaster. There is an old saying “A problem shared is a problem halved”. Bringing creative solutions to the table is one of our strongest skills.

Professionalism is hugely important is us and is why we strive for progression on communication, building relationships and delivering excellent service making sure we remain professional all the way through.
